Our History:

St. Louis, MO. Lodge #1 is the oldest active Masonic Lodge in Missouri. Originally, our lodge was chartered by the Grand Lodge of Tennessee on 8 October 1816.

To be considered for membership in Freemasonry, an individual  must meet several criteria: he must be a man, at least 18 years of age, and demonstrate good moral character. Furthermore, he should have recommendations that affirm this good character.

Most importantly, he must possess a sincere belief in a Diety.
